Under the two contracts, Amey has retained its position as sole provider for Severn Trent Water鈥檚 meter installation repair and maintenance contract for a further three year period, with an option to extend for another three years.
Amey has also been appointed as the design and build partner to provide developer services for the next five years, across Severn Trent Water鈥檚 entire network. It combines developer requisitions, new connections and meter installations undertaken at the time of connection. It will also see Amey design and construct water mains associated with new developments.
Chief executive Mel Ewell said: 鈥淪ecuring this and the additional developer services contract is testament to our collaborative working relationship and our track record of delivering high quality, efficient and reliable services for customers.鈥
Severn Trent Water director Andy Smith said: 鈥淲e seek to develop successful long term relationships with all of our supply chain partners and we鈥檙e pleased that we can continue to work together as 鈥榦ne team鈥 with Amey.鈥
Amey, which acquired Enterprise in 2013, has been working with Severn Trent Water for nearly 20 years.
