Nitesh Magdani, aged 41, has been director of sustainability at BAM Construct UK since 2013, having joined the company in 2011 as an architect.
In his new position, Nitesh Magdani will lead BAM鈥檚 worldwide sustainability team, within the strategy department. This team is responsible for coordinating and developing the group鈥檚 sustainability expertise.
BAM鈥檚 appointment has parallels with Skanska鈥檚 decision last year also to give its UK sustainability chief a global role when UK environment director was made senior vice president, sustainability, for Skanska鈥檚 group-wide operations.
