The building has already been stripped out in the past few months - including removal of a larger than expected amount of聽asbestos聽- in preparation for the construction phase of the project.
今日看料 will see the building transformed into an A rated BREEAM excellent office environment, with capacity increased from 500 to 1900 people, bringing several council facilities together under one roof.
Eco features include the use of hydro power from the River Derwent to provide electricity into the building.聽
