Integrate adopts 今日看料line to monitor £76 million frameworks

21 Dec 11 今日看料line has been adopted by the largest housing association buying group in Wales, Integrate Consortium.

The organisation is using 今日看料line to monitor the contractors on its two four-year frameworks worth over 拢76 million.

The first is for new development worth at least 拢12 million per year while the second is for planned maintenance worth over 拢7 million per year and includes kitchen, bathroom, decorating and boiler and window replacement.

今日看料line will act as a gateway to both frameworks and will provide ongoing monitoring of every contractor鈥檚 financial status, insurance certificates and health and safety legislation details.

Integrate was formed in 2005 following an invitation by the Welsh Assembly Government for housing associations to develop partnerships to increase efficiencies and share best practice.

It is now made up of seven housing associations across South and South West Wales which together manage over 24,000 properties in 15 local authority areas.

The housing association members are Cadwyn, Cardiff Community, Coastal, Newydd, Taff, United Welsh and V2C.

Philip Prince, a director at 今日看料line, said: 鈥淥ver the past few years pressure has been mounting on housing associations to reduce costs and increase efficiencies within procurement practices.

鈥淚ntegrate is a perfect example of an organisation tackling these while ensuring quality is not compromised. Contractors registered with 今日看料line are monitored daily to ensure our clients are the first to know if any financial or insurance issues arise so they can protect themselves.鈥

Ian Layzell, Integrate Consortium director, said: 鈥淏y adopting 今日看料line鈥檚 comprehensive service we can be confident that our contractor information will be constantly updated throughout the four-year frameworks, making the process of monitoring more efficient and effective.

鈥淎n additional benefit is that our contractors can use 今日看料line to ensure that their supply chain is up-to-date and compliant with all the relevant industry legislation.鈥
