Paul will be responsible for the strategic development and expansion of the company鈥檚 East Anglia special works operations.
鈥淭he expansion of our East Anglia special works division has been driven by an increasing demand for small-scale schemes such as refurbishments and restoration projects,鈥� says Paul, who has 28 years experience in the construction industry and 18 years within management.
Morgan Sindall鈥檚 special works business undertakes construction projects ranging from 拢100,000 to 拢1.5 million in value for customers who include local authorities, schools, hospitals, the MOD and national insurance companies. Typical schemes Paul and his team will be delivering in Suffolk and Essex include new build schemes, refurbishments, extensions and building alterations, as well as storm, fire and floor repairs.
鈥淭here are exciting opportunities available to us in the current economic climate with more of our customers opting to upgrade their existing properties instead of undertaking large-scale construction projects,鈥� explains Paul. 鈥淲orking with our network of local suppliers in the region, we are well placed to deliver these smaller value schemes as well as larger construction projects.鈥�
Morgan Sindall is currently working on a number of special works projects within its East region including a 拢700,000 refurbishment and restoration to the historic grade-one listed F Archway at Jesus College in Cambridge; a 拢1 million refurbishment at the Parkside Federation in Cambridge; a 拢250,000 refurbishment project at the Faculty of History for the University of Cambridge; a 拢420,000 scheme to construct a new dance studio at Litcham High School in Litcham, Norfolk, and an 拢800,000 refurbishment to the Riverside Retail Park in Norwich.聽聽
