The project involves construction of a new grammar school, arts theatre and halls of residence in Kirkwall, a new primary school in Stromness, a new swimming pool and squash courts at the Pickaquoy Centre and three all weather sports pitches. Funding comes from the Scottish Government and the Scottish Futures Trust. The new facilities will be built over the next three years. 聽
