The company says that the mission of its 鈥榖uilding performance engineering鈥� division is to 鈥榤ake buildings work better and perform to maximum efficiency鈥�.
It will look to consider light and thermal performance and maximising natural resources at the earliest building concept stage, before thought is given to adding mechanical and electrical services.
Henry Easterbrook, who has previously held senior building services roles at Skanska and Aecom, has been recruited as building performance engineering director to head up the new division from Hydrock鈥檚 Bristol office.
