Wates said that the appointment was made to strengthen its senior team in the region as it prepares to grow in the commercial, industrial and education sectors.
Richard Scarrott joined Wates in as operations director Birmingham in July 2013. As business unit director, he will take overall charge of Wates鈥� portfolio for the region. Current projects include the development of MTC鈥檚 Ansty Park in Coventry, the 拢20m expansion of Intu Potteries in Stoke-on-Trent and the contractor鈥檚 place on Scape鈥檚 East Midlands Property Alliance frameworks.
