A joint venture including Skanska has won an additional contract as construction manager of a research and development facility that is currently under way. Skanska鈥檚 50% share is US$136m and the company anticipates additional amendments to the contract as subsequent work and associated prices are agreed to.
Skanska has also received an additional contract of US$47m for commercial interiors for Skanska USA Commercial Development鈥檚 existing project in the Seaport district of Boston. 聽The project is a 17-floor office and commercial building with ground floor retail, targeting a minimum of LEED Gold certification. The project is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter 2015.
