The city鈥檚 Department of Public Transportation is extending Prague鈥檚 subway line A 6km with four more stations. Skanska鈥檚 contract covers building the energy installations and equipping the subway with air-conditioning, low voltage and communication systems. Skanska will start the work immediately and the work will be completed by autumn 2014.聽
Skanska Czech Republic had sales in 2010 of about SEK1bn (拢100m). The company has 5,600 employees in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Skanska is also active in the Czech Republic in the development of office buildings through Skanska Commercial Development Europe.
